Another year, another cup-less performance by the Toronto Maple Leafs. I’m not sure what commemorates the 40th anniversary of a drought… perhaps it’s the “dust-bowl” anniversary.
But I’m still a Leaf fan. What can I say? I’m stuck for life. No matter how many years go by without them winning, I just keep telling myself “hey, the Red Sox did it, and their streak was at 80-something years. There’s loads of time…” And by the looks of things, the Leafs going to need all the time they can get. Hell, they might even break that record! Ha ha ha… I need to move to Detroit.
